This year we’ve held two events where we met with a number of serious MPS users from the Netherlands – LangDev Meetup at CWI, March 8-9, 2018, (http://langdevcon.org/) and JetBrains MPS Community Meetup, April 19-20, 2018, in Munich (https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/MPS/JetBrains+MPS+Community+Meetup%3A+Agenda). These events gave us an idea to organize an “MPS Power Users Groups NL.” The idea is to be a “closed” group of MPS users as a core focused on real industry practices, experiences, and needs (possibly initiating cooperation) or, in other words, “the real story behind the shiny presentations.”

This is the invitation to the first meeting of MPS Power Users Groups NL, which will hopefully become a regular event.

The meeting will be 3-4 hours and will include 2-3 presentations and a discussion session. In order to keep the group focused and manageable, as well as to keep the discussion in balance (not one company dominating the discussion while others are not heard), there is a limit of 2-3 people per company. We will aim to meet 3 times a year.

The first meeting is planned for 9 October 2018.
